Post Summary
The successful candidate be based in the Faculty of Health Sciences (60%) and the Office of the Dean of Research (40%) and will be responsible for implementing operational procedures and a quality management system for clinical trial sponsorship services (IMP and Medical Device) across Trinity. The role-holder will report to the Head of Clinical Trial Sponsorship (HCSO) and will work closely with the Dean of the Faculty of Health Science and the Dean of Research.
Within Trinity College, Clinical Trial Sponsorship is overseen by the Dean of Research and managed by the Head of Clinical Sponsorship Oversight (HCSO). This post is linked to the implementation of the College’s Quality and Regulatory Affairs for Clinical Trials. In addition, the role-holder will work with the Office of the Dean of Research to develop supports for future health interventions. The role reports to the Head of Clinical Sponsorship Oversight (HCSO). The role-holder will also work closely with Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Dean of Research and will provide administrative support to the College’s Clinical Trials Oversight Governance Group.
Post status: Fixed-Term Contract (3 Years)
Hours of Post: 35 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 2 Salary Scale (€53,035 – €62,316) per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
